ISO/IEC 23008-12 specifies the Image File Format, and this page actually loads the heic2any decoder and jsPDF generator documented by their official projects. For each selected HEIC or HEIF file, it asks heic2any for a quality-0.92 JPEG, uses only the first returned image when the library returns an array, draws it to canvas, re-encodes JPEG at 0.92, and places it edge-to-edge on a PDF page sized to the decoded pixel dimensions. One selected file becomes one PDF page. Original metadata, color profiles, auxiliary or depth images, bursts, animation, edit history, and original compressed data are not deliberately preserved. The result has no OCR, searchable text, accessibility tagging, PDF/A claim, encryption, or conformance validation, and support depends on browser memory plus the bundled decoders; inspect every page before archival or submission use.
